Chalcedony

Stone of Spirit

Chalcedony is one of the world’s oldest, most abundant, and most popular gems, is a very fine-grained (Cryptocrystalline) variety of the Silica Mineral Quartz. Mineralogists consider Chalcedony a variety of Quartz, but gemologists and gem professionals treat the two as separate species. Considered a sacred stone by the Native American Indians, chalcedony nurtures and promotes brotherhood and good will.
